This piece has a beautiful story and will suit your home. Artwork by Renee Clifton.
This painting tells the story of my mother-in-law’s Country in Beagle Bay, where she grew up learning to live from the land and care for Country. The spring was central to life — providing water for drinking, supporting plants and animals for food, and creating a place where community gathered. Families would meet, share knowledge, yarn, and pass down stories from Elders to younger generations. The spring represents survival, connection, and the strength of culture. Through this artwork, those stories and memories continue to live on, sharing the importance of Country, family, and community.
